RICARDO RIBEIRO

Ricardo Ribeiro was born in Lisbon. He debuted when he was 12 at a local association.

Since he was 15 years old that he used to sing regularly in fado houses, sharing the evening with those he still considers his great masters like Fernando Maurício and Adelino dos Santos.

Ricardo Ribeiro has represented Portugal in several occasions and in 2001, invited by the French Ministry of Culture, he attended a Festival in Alu (south of France).

He also participated in a tribute album to Amália Rodrigues edited by World Connection and in 2004 released his first album “Ricardo Ribeiro” by CNM (Colecção Antologia).
